CARE GUIDE

Meticulous care, calmly explained.

The four rituals our curators practice in the labs — and the same ones we send home with every specimen.

01

Light mapping

Spend one full day observing where sun actually lands in your room. Bright indirect light sits one to two meters from a south or west window.

02

Watering rhythm

Water deeply, then wait. Most specimens prefer a full soak followed by nearly dry soil. Roots need air as much as moisture.

03

Humidity & mist

Group specimens together to build a shared microclimate. Mist aroids in the morning so foliage dries before dusk.

04

Seasonal rest

Growth slows in winter — reduce water and skip feeding until spring light returns. Dormancy is part of the design.
